What happens during the Clear Aligners treatment process?
Our orthodontist will firstly need to determine that Clear Aligners is the right treatment option for you. A customised treatment plan will be created using 3D imaging technology. This plan outlines the movement of the teeth throughout the treatment process. Once the plan is finalised, a series of clear aligners will be created specifically for you. Each set of aligners will be worn for about 2 weeks. Regular check-ups will be scheduled to monitor progress and make any necessary adjustments.

How long will I need to wear Clear Aligners?
The duration of wearing Clear Aligners varies from person to person, as it depends on the complexity of the orthodontic issues being treated. Generally, the treatment period ranges from 6 months to 2 years.

How many hours will I need to wear my aligner trays each day?
You’ll need to wear the trays for a minimum of 20-22 hours per day in order to hit your alignment targets. This means that you will need to wear them for the majority of the day, only removing them for meals and oral hygiene routines.

What will I happen if I don’t wear my aligner trays for enough hours?
You may experience delays in your treatment progress. Your teeth may not move as effectively, and it could take longer to achieve the desired outcome.

1. Your Consultation

2. Your Treatment
A series of custom-made aligner trays will be created for you. The trays are worn for approximately 2 weeks, before being replaced with the next set in the series. Regular check-ups with our orthodontist are scheduled to monitor progress.
3. Aftercare
We’ll advise you on how to maintain proper hygiene, how to clean your aligner trays, and when to attend check-up appointments.
