A safe, future-proof solution to missing teeth

As standard, we use our pioneering Enjoyable Dentistry Technique™ when performing implant surgery, meaning our patients enjoy a relaxed, calm and pain-free implant experience. We offer 0% finance to help spread the cost over manageable monthly payments. It’s important to note that dental implant surgery requires expert consultation and clinical after-care. While clinics in Turkey and other overseas locations can be tempting because of their low prices, we encourage our patients to choose a GDC registered clinician in the UK. This is crucial in ensuring the procedure and ongoing care conforms to the required clinical standards.

Our treatment process

1. Your Consultation

We’ll examine your teeth, gums, and jawbone to determine if you’re a suitable candidate for dental implants. Then we’ll explain the implant procedure, including any potential risks or complications.

2. Your Treatment

Local anesthesia will be administered as per our Enjoyable Dentistry Technique™ process. The implant will be placed, and the gum tissue sutured back together. A temporary crown or bridge may be placed on top of the implant.

3. Aftercare

After undergoing a dental implant procedure, patients are provided with specific aftercare guidance to ensure proper healing. Patients should also be mindful of any signs of infection or discomfort and contact their dentist immediately if they experience any issues.

FAQs

  • Dental implants are essentially artificial tooth roots that are surgically placed into the jawbone. The implant is made of a biocompatible material, usually titanium, which allows it to fuse with the surrounding bone through a process called osseointegration. This provides a strong and stable foundation for the replacement tooth or crown to be attached. Once the implant has fully integrated with the bone, a connector called an abutment is placed on top of it, which connects the implant to the replacement tooth. This allows for a natural-looking and functional tooth replacement that can last for many years with proper care.

  • On average, the entire process can take anywhere from a few months to a year. The first step involves a thorough examination and planning phase, where our dentist will evaluate your oral health and determine if you are a suitable candidate for implants. The next step is the surgical procedure, during which the implants are placed into the jawbone. After the surgery, there is a healing period of several months, while the implants fuse with the jawbone. Finally, once the healing is complete, our dentist will attach the prosthetic teeth to the implants, which can take a few appointments to ensure proper fit and functionality.

  • Your eligibility for dental implants depends on various factors, such as the your overall health, oral health, and bone density. Your consultation with us will determine whether dental implants are a viable option for you, given your specific circumstances.

  • Dental implants can last a lifetime with proper care and maintenance. Dental implants are a permanent solution.

  • Our Enjoyable Dentistry Technique™ separates us from other dental clinics. We prioritise a relaxing, calm and pain-free experience for our patients.

  • We’ll be able to determine if a bone graft will be necessary beforehand once we’ve had a consultation with you. A bone graft is a surgical procedure that involves adding bone, or a bone substitute, to an area where the bone is missing or damaged. It may be required if you have experienced bone loss due to gum disease, tooth extraction, or trauma. The purpose of a bone graft is to create a stable foundation for dental implants or other restorative procedures.

  • Yes, dental implants are considered to be a very safe and effective option for tooth replacement. Dental implant surgery is a routine procedure that is performed with a high success rate. However, it is important to note that like any medical procedure, there are potential risks and complications associated with dental implants. We’ll discuss those with you during your consultation.
